Mighty Dettifoss! After driving 15 km of off-road terrain, praying our poor van would take the push, we finally reach our destination, and what a destination… Apart from the fact that the unique landscape, alienlike, is even more different than the rest of Iceland, we come to this huge, massive, 50 meter water fall right in front of you… You can even feel the water force pounding on the rocks below…It makes your heart beat faster as you approach the edge, centimeters away from a certain death fall, in order to place your tripod and take THAT picture…
Except the furious noise of the water falling down, there is only silence, and no soul to been seen in miles and miles around…
